I just curbed a rear wheel at the f'ing bank drive through. Anyone know of a place that can repair this?

Everyone at work says this is the only place to go- wait may be long, but they are supposedly the best.

They are the best. They have been in business longer than anyone else and I believe they invented the business.

So with everyone saying they're the best - I decided to give a call. I called on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday - each day.. no answer and I left a message. The answering machine sounds like a default message so it doesn't even sound like a business, so who knows if that's even the right number.

Maybe they'll eventually call back, but at this rate, sure doesn't seem like it. I want to have all 4 of my wheels refurbished back to new.

If this "Ye Ole Wheel Shop" doesn't work, any other alternatives?

we don't powder coat but we do paint wheels. and we also offer clear bra nd car vinyl wrap. not on the site yet... just mentioning

Automoto, do you have a shop? how much to repair one OZ minto 2pc wheel 17x7.5 with a 215 40 17 tire, I hit a pot hole so the polished lip has a dent on it. whats your turn around time for one wheel?

Any updates on this?

Hey guys,

I can vouch for Rimguard Xtreme out of New Bern, NC I rashed half my VOLK GT-C polished rim and thought I'd have to buy a new wheel for sure. I called the Rimguard Xtreme guys and they looked at my wheel and asked me to leave it with them. All fixed and I swear it just rolled out of the factory when I saw the repair.

They offer free nationwide shipping as well. Visit them at www.rimguardxtreme.com
or call John Lee at 1-888775-7467 ext 704
or his cell phone 252-571-2908

Attached is a before and after pictures. These speak for themselves ...

I just thought I would post with results from be personal experience in getting this service done. I am not saying others cannot do the same thing, but I do have experience with Rimguard Xtreme. Since then I sent Rimguard Xtreme three other rims I have for strightening and touch up. Cannot say enough about John and his team. They are VERY reasonable too.

Ye ole wheel shop quoted me $80 to repair my curb rash. The damage isn't really too bad. I may get it repaired sometime in the future.

Last week Ye ole wheel quoted me $125 per wheel to fix curb rash all the way around, plus $25 to R/R the tire. I'll get it done as soon as I'm ready to replace the rear tires so they can at least mount the new ones for me.
