    Caveat Emptor!

CTSC on e-bay...

Is it just me or does that charger not look like it has never even been installed?

New member, location "Boost". I could be wrong but I smell scam.

That is the longest sentence I have ever read for a description. Must have been written by a dumb blonde... I really have a headache now...

I told him to contact me with additional information and location. also more pics of the unit. Will request serial number as well. Will see if hes legit or not. If he is already to buy the unit for my 91. I seriously think its a scam though. Like everyone said description wise and also no feedback as well. I can hardly believe someone would sell it that cheap or be that dumb but who knows. Will keep you informed of what I find out.

Let's see...he's been registered on Ebay for only 2 weeks, has zero feedback, doesn't give a real location, and I tried the phone number and got an automated message. And will take 2K. Gotta be a scam!

I called the guy....his # on the ad is a central florida #.....when I talked to him (he sounds young) he said he was in key west. Asked if I could drive down to come see it, he said sure (scam?)....I asked him what year car it came off of, he flipped it around and asked me what year my car was....When I told him a 91, he responded his was a 92...not sure why he didn't just answer my question.....claims to have all parts and documentation...before I could get much further he said he was leaving work in a few mins and would call me back.....interesting but still "feels" fishy to me....is there any way to tell if the thing is ok just from a visual inspection? claims it was on his car for 9months approx 3k miles.

I just wrote the guy. Asked where it/he is located and if he was willing to do a cash sale in person to the winning bidder. All he answered was "Yes I am".

I just talked to him... I sent him my number and he called me. He says that he wont send more pics because everything is in a bag and he doesn't want to take it out of the bag.

Then he says he has a buyer that, if the guy gets payed tomorrow, will pick it up.

T.J.

call the guy trax he wants me to wire $2k from western union and he will overnight the charger so i told him i can only paypal than he make some bullshit statement about payapl not letting him receive payment. SCAM......

like, like, like, what are ya'll sayin'?

You can always request the transaction be completed via an escrow service. For $2000 it's worth paying their fees. If the seller balks you know its a scam.

i been on the phone with that person all day he wants me to sent money with western union soo what is that
SSSSSCCCCCAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
i would say anyway if its true its good deal i will bid

If you check his profile, he has bought and sold exactly zero items on ebay. I know everyone has to start out there, but that sounds like a gamble with a lot of money. Also, the item location is listed as: "GOT BOOST, USA"...hmmm. He also needs to retake some English classes.

Looks like they take payment via paypal. So it can't be 100% scam. But the item page is put together like crap and this doesn't help them either....

Item location: GOT BO0ST, United States <----WTF is that???

yep, new ebay seller.....stay away.

and NO pictures of any other parts for the super charger MINUS the blower.... "if it at all SOUNDS too good to be true; it ALWAYS is"...
