A.S. Motorsport has recently become a authorized CT Engineering dealer.

CT Engineering makes Superchargers, Air intake systems, Headers & Exhaust, Suspension , strut & sway bars. and more for the NSX.



Superchargers:
CT Engineering NSX Supercharger provides a substantial increase in horsepower that begins building at 2,000 RPM and continues all the way to redline. Superchargers are of the "Screw-Type" design that provide consistent boost and compress the intake charge very efficiently with a minimal increase in air intake temperature.

Wonder if anybody else noticed that the ad says for a 94-96 uses a different one from the 91-93. I wonder why? I can see if they said 95 since it is a 'T' model and has a different engine cover.

No but I did notice they are not based in the US? $6500 for a CT charger, I would be all over that but no offence to A.S. Motorsport but you have 48 posts and (0) Itrader rating? Some people may be willing to take that chance but not me sorry. Just thought you should know.

I was so blinded by that potential good price that I didn't even look at location or i-trader rating.
Thanks for pointing that out and that will have a DRAMATIC affect on my decision making process.

I posted the list for interested personnel. I was just told that vendors purchase from CT Engineering at a price of 80% of retail. So doing the math and assuming a price of $10,000 it comes out to $8,000. So I don't think $6,500 will work. And about the overseas, you could always go through Escrow to ensure you get the product.

A lot of interest in the supercharger.

About the post count (every one starts some where don't they?)
For US customers we will arrange that the factory sends the supercharger.
To cut shipping costs.

About the price that's very very low for a Supercharger.
It would need a very large group buy but if you can get a lot of people to sign up for one we might get you a very nice price.

Here is some more info about the SC,

CT Engineering's Supercharger Package is designed by CT Engineering engineers exclusively for the NSX to provide a substantial increase in horsepower that begins building at 2,000 RPM and continues all the way to redline. Superchargers are of the "Screw-Type" design that provide consistent boost and compress the intake charge very efficiently with a minimal increase in air intake temperature. This combination helps provide almost instant boost (unlike centrifugal type superchargers) to increase and broaden the torque curve substantially. CT Engineering Supercharger Packages are 50 state legal and all components have been tested to ensure OEM reliability as well as proper fitment in the NSX engine compartment. The CT Engineering NSX Supercharger continues to be known worldwide as the only reliable forced induction option for the NSX.

New NSX Supercharger Details: New Autorotor unit replaces Lysholm/Whipple unit, provides 10-15% More Horsepower, lowers inlet air temperatures, and is more easily serviceable (Fuel Rail can be removed without removing Blower Unit, easier access to the Igniter, rubber bypass tube replaced with new Aluminum tube).

Product Notes: Targa model NSX’s come with a CT Engineering Billet Strut Bar and a new engine cover assembly that will accommodate the targa top.

Only vague warnings about how $6500 is a very low price, and any kind of group buy would need to be substantial (and not necessarily at $6500).
