What is the 'best' time for arriving? I understand it's an ungodly hour, I just have never been (despite living 15 minutes away).
i got there at 7am last weekend and it was perfect timing.

My experience is that a few minutes before 7 is a good time. As this event gets more and more popular and becomes more of a scene than the gathering it once was, the RAC's and real police are cracking down more and more. Some of it deserved (street racing) and some of it is ticky tacky (no front plates).

Man,. I wish I can make it out there but the work schedule doesn't permit. 
I arrived at around 7:10AM and parked off to the side a bit, there was another nsx there (silver) in the viewing area that I saw, and there was also a very nice mini - I started to get into taking pictures, but then had a flashing red battery logo ;-(
Matt's NSX is Silverstone, CTSC, Black rims... Was that the one in the showing area?
That was me. 99' Kaiser Silver - all stock except for ARK exhaust.

A red 348 parked in the next aisle over, with the plate 'NVER LAT' - a bit of an odd coincidence, given I just picked up 'NVER LTE' from the DMV 2 weeks ago - FWIW I had never seen the Ferrari before this morning... it would have been a great picture, were my camera not dead.

we seem to parallel each other a lot.
My wife's name is Kelly, your wife's name is Kelly. My wife had surgery recently as well (5/9/06) though not on her neck. I had to take a couple of days off to nurse her back so she can get back on her feet and earn money for my next NSX..:biggrin:
