Cruise Control Removal

I did mine a few years ago. I did the stepper motor up front and even the computer behind the glove box. It's probably ~6lbs or so.

The service manual (that you can download here) will show you the location of the computer, and also how the cruise linkages go). In seven years of driving it, never used the cruise control.

Resurrecting this old thread for my project. How the heck do you detach the actuator cable from the throttle pedal arm? Is it the same type of connector as on the throttle body (T-shaped), or is there a clevis pin?

It was my mechanic who did the work... so I can’t explain exactly what to do... but would it help if I take a picture of the cable extremity?

A picture would be great!

Hope it helps... let me know if you need more or a different angle

Awesome Bruno!

The only thing I remember was that it was a PITA to figure out. I would have had to snap a picture like Bruno but it appears that I'm missing a box of old unused NSX parts from a move. Bummer.

Honestly, I have no idea how I'm going to detach that thing. Does it slide in sideways? Snap in from the top? Twist out? Only one way to find out.
