We recently used Intercity Lines from Michigan to California; closed enclosure, no warehousing, one truck. For the most part, we were very pleased with their communication. The only minor hicup was they promised to deliver by the weekend ( 7 seven days total) but they arrived on a Tuesday two days later due to two cars not being ready in Chicago.

If you give them a clean washed car, they cover it as well to make sure it stays that way.

Pricing was competitive when compared to others, especially when you consider they own their trucks (they are not brokers), and once on the truck, it stays until delivery.

Edit: http://www.intercitylines.com/

Do they have a website?

I just used Intercity Lines for CA to CT in under 6 days. Very accomodating when I had to push back the pickup day due to paperwork problems ( I HATE YOU, CA DMV). Price was fair & took good car of the car. Car rode on upper level too.

Ditto. DAS is for lower end cars, that don't matter. I used Intercity Lines with white glove treatment! Carpeted walls, hardwood floors, liftgate.....you get the idea. Payed extra to have my car on the top level and never moved from where it began. Arrived exactly as scheduled and they even gave me the drivers cell phone number to call with ETA.

DAS sucks.. Shipped my TALON TSI AWD out to cali from nj and it took almost 3 weeks. I repeat, 3 weeks.

I used Horseless Carriage from New Jersey to California. They took great care of my car and delivered it in style to my front door. Strongly recommend them. Cost me $1,800 July 2004. Good luck.
