This is an experimental monitor which may someday find it's way onto our desks. The "google earth" demonstrated this is video is quite amazing.

I can just imagine using NSX Prime with a monitor like this. You guys won't be able to get your hands off the screen when someone posts girly photos.

DuPont has been working on this technology for a while. Acrylic screens. Will make some pretty big money.

The technology used for the monitor is very simple, it is just a touch screen that can read multiple inputs.

What is cool with that video and the technology is the software and how it interpets the multiple inputs.

A lot of the demonstration didn't have much practical value and would of been just as easy to do with a mouse or normal touchscreen. I can see this technology being helpful for certain applications, but it will be necessary to come up with some kind of standards for multiple selection.
