Trouble removing the crank pulley bolt. I've broken two 19mm impact sockets while trying to remove the bolt. The first one went attempting to remove bolt with an electric impact tool. The second was merely using a breaker bar with 3/8" by 15" extention. Blaow! Has anyone had this trouble, and is there any trick to get it to loosen?

I just used a standard 6 point 1/2' drive craftsman socket with a breaker bar and a 4 foot pipe. It's real hard to believe you are breaking impact sockets what are they harbor freight.
Yeah, they were both from cheap origins. I'll go to a more heavy duty setup.

Thats the secret, "four foot breaker bar". Had to do the same to break it loose. What did you use to hold the pulley?? I had a NSX mechanic lend me the pulley holder tool and once we had that it made it a "little " bit easier

Removed the flywheel dust shield. Placed a large heavy duty screwdriver in between two teeth of the flyweel.
