After waiting impatiently for Phu's video to be done I decided to take matters into my own hands, so Cozmo's NSX Gone Mild was born!

I'd like to apologize in advance for how bad some of the video clips are and how silly I am. My camera really sucks in the car. (see my posts in the Track Cams thread if you want the details).

I learned a few things in this process:
  1. My computer is too slow for HD video (building a new one now)
  2. Just getting decent clips of my car driving by was difficult, so I have no idea how Phu pulls off the stuff he does.
  3. My tripod (intended for my still camera) is really bad for panning with a video camera

Next time I promise more shots of the outside of the car.

**Vimeo has been acting up this morning so if the video won't load wait a few minutes and try again**

If you have a vimeo account you can download the original 720p WMV of this for about a week or so until they delete it.

lol. Good to see my old car is getting some love.

Looks like you're having fun with it for sure. Did you chance the cats?

Btw- get new tires!

No the cats are the same. I did get new tires. There's Yoko S.Drive on all 4 wheels now.

Very mild.....14 mph had me rolling

It was really hard to go that slow. Other drivers and people walking around were all giving me strange looks.

Nice. It looked sunny out. I didn't think the sun ever came out in Seattle.

We've had a lot of nice hot sunny days lately. It doesn't really rain here that much in the summer.

That drive ithrought the hills is siiick. Don't have those in Tampa

That's one of my favorite roads which is really fun to go down, but not so much to go up. It is a bit scary though as you can see you never know who is going the other way and whether or not they're in their own lane. That's half of what makes it exciting.

Good... now you know you can go faster than 14, right? lol

That wouldn't be very mild of me now would it?
I said that it feels like I'm going a lot faster so really I was going about twice that speed, so 28mph which is just under the limit of 30. It is kinda like the wind chill factor.

Love it, great video, CLEAN NSX, just try not to have you hands so high @ the steering wheel on the turns/curves  ...

Neat Video! I love seattle!

Couple of comments:

1. Wow you actually look you the dude in the Avatar.
2. Keep your hands at the 10 and 2 position at ALL times when canyon carving. I guarantee you will have far better car control.

Thanks for the compliments and suggestions everyone. I was kinda worried about posting the video at all. I figured that other people were like me and wanted to watch just about anything with an NSX in it.

Now I'm motivated to make more... with more outside shots of the car this time and less vibrating in-car nastiness.

I liked that panning side shot too, now I just need to get a friend/tripod that can do it smoothly.

Well done. Nice blend of 'NW homey boy' + sarcasm. Between the "other" video preview and yours, you get my seal of approval.

Nice Vid...Its nice to see a face to go along with the avitar. Good tunes also.

That was F-ing hilarious cozmo....I loved it! Keep em comin!!!

Great video Cozmo! That Sebring Silver sure is purdy.

I have to echo the other posters comments regarding the driving position of your hands when in the twisty sections. Definately 9 and 3 o'clock positions for greater control. I used to be a left hand ontop of the wheel kind of guy and changed for the better. Now driving seems alot easier and alot more fun!

Keep the vids coming!

Too funny, nice work . It was getting a little un-mild at the end:tongue:

Great Video!!

My favorite is the shot of you going and coming around the corner. Looked and SOUNDED fantastic. Like others have said that area looks very nice, so lush and green.

Well done

LOL, that was funny Cozmo. Loved the 14mph, was that biker going faster? hehe.

Yeah, the short but very twisty black diamond rd is great for a thrill. Hey, let me know if ya need some red lovin for your next video.

I think you said it best that you were tired of waiting for the "wild" video. Although much anticipated and major amount of production involved, it's nice to see a local get a decent video going.

That kid on the bike wasn't going much slower than me.

I know the WILD video is going to blow all our minds. I didn't mean to sound like I was angry or anything about it, just that I wanted to give people something else to watch while they wait. I can appreciate Phu wanting to get it right, even my crappy quickly thrown together video went through a few major revisions right at the end over the past few days, and it is only a few minutes long.

I'm looking into getting a small cheap HD camera to mount outside the car, then things could get interesting. I'm going to try really hard not to have any nasty shaky shots in my next video. Everyone here is too kind, I think it looks horrible.

If you have any ideas for a multi-car video let me know. I have an idea for my next video which is just me again (but without all the talking)

We're too kind or you're being too modest? All hail Cosmo! Now you have us waiting for video #2.
