First off, I'm brand new to this forum and thought I would join due to the fact that most of you seem to know what you are talking about, which is both uncommon and pleasing.
Anyways, to give a little background, I'm graduating with my bachelor's in a couple of weeks and have decided to go ahead through the master's program. My twin brother is also graduating with his bachelor's but hasn't planned on going through grad school, mainly due to the job that he has been offered (50k in Tennessee with a 4yr isn't too shabby). He's decided also to go ahead and get an S2K. Not to be overdone, I've decided to try to look into an NSX for when I graduate in a year (We've both been hondanuts from the day that we've started driving, and, in fact, have owned nothing but that since, so anything else would almost be out of the question).
That said, my questions are:
With a budget of around 35K for the car itself,
1. Which year cars are the best for my budget, and which should I look out for as far as problem children.
2. I know that the displacement of the motors have changed from 3.0 to 3.2 and trannys have changed from 5 to 6 speed over the years, I just don't know when this happened. Also, I don't know if any of the trannys came with LSD...did they?
3. I would prefer a targa, and, again, don't know when those were put into production.
Mileage isn't too much of an issue, as i'm planning on driving it on the weekends and keeping my Integra as a daily driver, as well as planning a complete engine rebuild sometime in the near future of acquiring the car.
Any information would be helpful and my appologies for being redundant if my questions have been answered in previous threads.
