I have heard this kind of activity is why there are not too many companies willing to put money into R&D for Asian markets.
Same goes for movie counterfeiting. No one wants to spend the money to build up a star if they can not command a large income for their movies.
When it comes right down to it, it is very easy to pick out the fake anything from the real. The question in my mind always, is the real worth that much more than the fake? Especially when we are talking about 5K hand bags by Louis Vuitton.
