That's it! the sun is shining, it's only minus 5, it's a holiday weekend, we're going out!
I put 200 klics on ol' BBAN yesterday and let me tell you if you want a large dose of 'spring feel good' this is the way to do it!
New suspension works just fine with some reservations, first, I have spent a lot of time trying to set ride height and now I am of the considered opinion that you can't do it without load cells, every time I check one corner with a tape and make adjustments the other corners change......maybe I'm missing something. Secondly, the setup I have settled on at this time seems fairly neutral, for the street, but to find whether it understeers, oversteers or whatever would take me into the "go directly to jail zone" so I think I need a day at the track to work the final settings out. Needs an alignment too, but initial checks with a string line indicate that it's not all that far out.
