could this cause problems?

i'm still experiencing the 'bogging' issue and noticed that my rear coils are all pretty rusted (a possible problem as pointed out by armando). i cleaned them best i could, but could this still be the culprit? the check engine code i was getting was referring to the rear fuel bank.

anyway, if this is not the culprit, should these coils be replaces? the still measure resistance within spec.

Hi James,

Congrats on your win BTW. If the resistance is OK, I think you need to look further, only because I see many cars with coils that are rusted like this. I would check the plug too and look at it in comparison to both banks and see if they differ.

What is the actual code you get? ODBI can be a little vague sometimes.

hi larry!

i spoke with mark basch today and we talked about it. he suggested checking the fuel pressure. sure makes sense and it was suggested in one of my prior posts. i just haven't gotten around to doing it. i'll have to pick up a gauge at honda.
