If they don't compensate for your weight, go somewhere else.   You can have them compensate for a passenger too, w/ a predetermined weight, by having them mark the collar and the sleeve w/ the two different settings.  But really, it shouldn't be a huge difference in handling if you just have the one setting for you.  Just don't drive it to 10/10ths.
