Corner Balancing and adjusting Ride Height afterward

I bought an NSX that was already corner balanced. However since he lives in LA with terrible roads, the ride height is quite high.

Can I lower the car equally on all four corners and not affect the corner balancing?

I'm guessing I won't be able to adjust the front and rears independently to a different ride height though, right?

Thanks Prime!

That's a real good question. I know that if you lower it though, you'll need another alignment.. Theoretically if you bring the whole thing down equally across all 4 corners, there shouldn't be an issue, but I don't know if that's what really happens.

Happa is right, but it will only change a little bit. The question is was the alignment and corner weight done right From the start? I do mine with strings myself and for friends and I am always amazed to see how crappy of a job these computerized shops do.

Something to consider when you go to a alignment shop after they make an adjustment do they roll the car back and forth to settle the car? Most times they don't to save time and if they don't the whole alignment is off.

You can raise both fronts, both rears, or all 4 corners without affecting the corner balancing. Just make sure you make the same amount of turns on the left as you do the right. The more you lower it the more the toe and camber will change and the need of an alignment will increase.

Awesome, thanks guys!
