No offense taken at all, but I guess my concern is the above. First, the coolant path as stated is wrong. The OEM path is: Water pump --> thermostat --> radiator --> engine.Next, your description of the "problem" is not correct. The thermowax pellet on the thermostat is on the "hot" side, so it is reacting to the hottest possible coolant coming directly off the engine pre-radiator. I tried to explain with those diagrams, but maybe this makes more sense. There is nothing wrong with the location of the thermostat. I hope that is more clear!
