I miss the thread too guys.. I don't understand why just because we are NSX owners means we cant have fun on the message boards.. I was checking 10 x a day for updates.. now everyting just seems kind of dull..

oh ya, well ive got you both beat! i took the seats out of my nsx and replaced them with the seats out of the lotus!how do you like that!

That video is of Adam Singer's MR2 (V8Eater). What you see is the result of a his nitrous system backfiring into the intake manifold, literally blowing it apart at the welds.
Adam is running a U.S. engine -- if he had a Gen III arguably he wouldn't need the custom manifold since the updated JDM motor addressed the overfeeding of cylinders 2 & 3 that necessitates the custom manifold on U.S. cars running high boost. I believe Adam's car is running over 400 rwhp at the moment. Here are some videos of it against a Viper and a C5 Vette.

However, perhaps the most outrageous MR2 drag style video is a fellow by the name Ewart Harney from the island Antigua (10 second run):
