COOL Magic Trick (illusion)~!!!

Awesome!

Even with the Japanese language it is inconsequential & incredibly entertaining - purely visual!

You know it can't really happen that way, but he makes it look so convincing.

yeh. i mean, logic/reasoning says that there MUST be some solution or trickery to make all of this work in some "real" way... but either way, magic is sort of like eye candy. you can simply enjoy the illusion. and this magician seems to go one step further by doing things that are so simple, yet seemingly impossible. its great.... well hope you guys enjoyed~!!!

no one ever claimed it was impossible.... i'm sure its "staged" but as grown people, we all figure again magic has a logical solution. but you have to admit, this is one trick that is surely hard to pin point the exact "stagin" of.... its great

If you take into consideration that it's staged, with assistants, then it becomes easier to speculate on how some of these might be done. I know that Blaine has done a similar trick where he turns around and throws a bunch of cards at a window and the card 'appears' on the other side of the glass. In that case, he had an assistant inside the restaurant plant that on the glass.

Let me try and guess at the simple example before explaining the more complex one. The simple one is the card on the car door. Notice how the camera zooms in to largely fill the entire screen with his hands as he's pushing on the card on the glass. At this point an assistant can easily place a card on the other side of the glass from below since that part is covered. When he moves his hand away, the card has either dropped down or has been palmed and you only see the card on the other side. In terms of the assistant, notice that the whole thing is not a continuous scene .. they cut back to the car after that other clip, so an assistant could easily be on the other side of the door out of view.

So for the last video for example, imagine that there is an assistant (diver) outside in the water. Also, assume that everyone on the shoot is "in on it". Notice that at 2:37 or so his hand disappears off camera for a few seconds. I believe he hands off the deck and gets a second deck at this point. When he then shoots the deck at the glass, the window is partially obscured by the flying cards which allows a 'duplicate' of the original card to be placed outside. I can only speculate that this is done perhaps by a plate of glass with the card already affixed to it being mechanically slid upwards or something. Of course you cannot see the writing on the card on the outside (mainly because there is no writing .. it was always outside to begin with). The tear on the card is very carefully preplanned so that it looks similar to the one on the outside.

Afterwards, he places the napkin over the window -- note that at 4:08 there is a break in the video and he has the napkin fully open over the window. This napkin has been preplanted with the real card on a corner, perhaps lightly glued on by the off-screen assistant. In his palm is a little capsule filled with water so when he presses his hands against the napkin it breaks and causes the napkin to become wet. The two girls then hold the napkin away from the glass by a little bit and he then proceeds to stick his hand and grab the card from the other side of the napkin. Notice how he carefully places his other hand so you can't really tell that his grabbing hand is actually moving down and to the left (notice how the napkin pulls in on the bottom left where the card was likely affixed). Meanwhile the camera is totally close up, so anyone on the outside could easily move the card on the outside away.

That's my theory anyways :)

About the first video, I have no idea how the heck he pulled the salt shaker through, but my guess on the coin is that his ring is magnetized so when he puts his hand directly over the coin it sticks to the ring. When he moves his top hand away, notice how he folds his right three fingers in which now securely hold the coin. I still haven't figured out how he got a second coin into his hand below though!

what is his name? i'm gonna try to find more clips by him..

no idea... i just recently found a chris angel clip (american magician) with similar walking through glass trick. i'll post later if i find it...

The burger trick is just a gimmick with a helper on the other side of the wall.
Look closely and you can see the photo has an edge around it. Easy to slip
something through and change the photo from the other side.

Super illusions though!
