Is this possible for a NSX? I have a '91 in Hong Kong with only 40K miles, and I'd like to start using it for the track. Or love to find someone that would trade for it (but guys its a right hand side)

Nah. I think a stick is better for the track if that's what you're going to do. But if you're just going to track the car every now and then I wouldn't worry about it and just keep the auto. Also being a 91 he doesn't have the Sportshift so it's not the same experience.
I agree though.. just sell the car if you want a stick. Also with respect to power... yes 20hp less, add headers, exhaust and airbox and you're back up with more torque on the lower end. Then if you really want more power get the BB, Comptech SC or Larry's turbo. Don't worr about the trany it can handle it. Actually Larry's turbo was originally built and tested on an automatic. BTW the diff in hp only occurs in the top RPMs so unless you're going to put in short gears most likely the gearing is feel about the same once you launch off the line.
BTW if you live in the hills of SF you might not like the stick experience in traffic. Just something else to consider.

Thanks for the update. The last time I spoke to Larry he was using an automatic. In any case you can add levelten components and problem solved.
