Does anyone know of a good tool for removing pins from wiring harness connectors?
I plan to modify the wiring so the 7-segment displays (clock, CCU, & radio) stay on the bright level if the headlights are on but its still light outside. That normally requires cutting leads on the connectors. Being an anal electrical engineer, I prefer to pull out the existing pin(s), connect the pin(s) to a connector on my new circuit board, and insert wires from the new circuit into the existing connector. With this method, the car could be restored completely to stock, if desired.
