I noticed condensation on the inside of the trunk lid. I checked the gaskets by sliding a piece of paper between the gasket and lid and it seems to be tight all the way around. Has anyone ever had this problem? All the gifts I had stashed in the truck were damp and now the CD changer is malfunctioning. Any clues?

Condensation in the trunk is fairly common. Any moisture that gets into the trunk gets vaporized by the heat of the engine and exhausts system and then condenses on cooler inside of the trunk lid and tail lights. If the seal around the trunk lid is good and you have not had any spills or wet items in the trunk I would replace the tail light gaskets.

Don't store wet/damp chamois or towels in the trunk unless they are in a zip lock bag or sealed container.
These items not properly stored will cause condensation for the reasons mentioned by BrainK.

another thought, you should check your trunk lid whenever you open it, and if you found any condensation on the lid, you must wipe them dry and leave the towel somewhere else. This is mandatory.

Also, when it's wet outside, quite a bit of water can be introduced into the trunk when you open it. so beware of that too.

If you have a garage, then dry your trunk and leave the trunk lip open for couple days should be able to dry up the trunk and lights.

Since your CD Changer is too wet that it won't work anymore, I would say you had the wet trunk problem for quite a while now. I'd also moved the changer out and leave it in house, hoping that the warmer and dryer air in your house would completely dry up the changer's internal. It might work again.

Thanks you all for the input! Just to let you know I purchased a 97T with 30,000mi I have been driving acuras for the last ten years though this is my first NSX. I also have 2 2000 Type R's, as soon as I unload some Type R parts I will be upgrading the NSX. Hope you wont get tired of my questions!
Thanks
Mike

Also check the taillight lens assemblies themselves for separation/warping at the top seams that are visable with the trunk opened. I need to replace mine because of this condition and the water/condensation that was allowed to enter the trunk through them. I sealed them with some silcone caulk which helped as a temporary fix.

something i noticed - the only time i get condensation in the trunk or tailights is after i take my car to be serviced at the local acura dealer. after some sleuthing i think the most likely reason is the very high pressure washing it gets after the technicians are done with it. the solution is to remember to tell the service writer NO HIGH PRESSURE WASH!

Okay since no one else has mentioned this I thought I had better mention it...

Check the drain hole for the aerial. If this gets clogged then the water will overflow into the trunk of the NSX...

Just and update. The rain stopped yesterday and I was able take a good look at the tail lights. I found the left side half full of water. I removed the light and drained the water then blew the unit out with compressed air, this didn't remove all the moister but at least the fish can't swim in it! I inspected the gaskets and they were dry. I didn't detect any cracks in the lens and it seemed to be sealed well. Where else could this much water come from? I'm looking now at replacing the tail lights, does anybody know if the light kits that Dali sells are complete assemblies or just new lens.
