condensation in tail lights

help me out if you can.just joined,first post.i bought my car in april 2002 with no noticable problems with tail lights (previous keeper never garaged it) but since i have owned it i have noticed condensation in first the left light and now i have it in the right light as well.dealer tells me that it is a common problem.but im wondering if he is just trying to get £700 out of me! is there anything i can do to sort this out myself.

I stated this happened to my left and center piece, so I took out the bulbs and used a hairdryer to evaporate the moisture. Then I always wipe under the trunk lid after every car wash and 'if caught in rain' wipe around the trunk seal too..

Others have drilled tiny seep holes, but I wouldn't do that to my car....
