Wondering if this is an issue or just due to the humidity in South Carolina. Usually you can't see inside the airbox so I have no clue if it's normal. No water has actually gotten into the airbox. Its more of an oil condesation from the consistency.
Got it diagnosed. was not a bad PCV valve as I thought. Oil was sloshing out and up the intake line to the airbox during higher rev/speed right hand corners. stuck a GoPro on it this morning and went for a little mountain run and that was the only time it occurred. Very slight but enough to get blown around the airbox and leave the residue.
I'm assuming sticking a little catch can on that line wouldn't hurt anything, and would fix the problem with no side effects.
Going to replace my oil pan with a baffled one as well.
