Comptech with Ultra Flo ??

Hi, my comptech exhaust comes with the car when I bought it. I had asked the question about modifying it, but everyone told me not to ruin the system.

Here's why:
1. It attached to the "ultra Flo" muffler, and I can see a little rust from the welds ( even though it's tag welded.) Not to mention the muffler is real ugly IMO. (not shiny stainless steel)
Could anyone tell me if that's what the comptech system comes with??

2. It also had the big round fat lipped Comptech exhaust tip (resonated), that make the exhaust sound real rapsppy... I'm thinking to change it to just a slant cut tip. Of course everyone X'ed me again for cutting the laser tig welded tip.

I have the Comptech header too, so it really doesn't sound too bad...

Would the FlowMaster muffler option work better than my current set up?
I'm also thinking if I should just print out the Taitec Center exit picture, and have a local muffler shop weld it like that.
Tell me if it will be a good idea.

As long as you think out what you want to do, do it! I for one dont care for the CompTech at all! I bought one just like the one you have(Ultra Flow) and after I installed it, I was really disappointed. Didn't sound good to me.
After a few weeks, the can blew. I replaced it with the Flowmaster and new tips(my own personal choice) and couldn't be happier(for what I paid)!
