OK so on previous advice I wanted to do this one step at a time, and not go all out. But are Comptech bars that different than the oem type R front bar? The rear is definitely more. But without a track day and some street driving, I barely feel a difference.

Current setup:

JRZ 2 way race dampers set about the middle on compression and rebound
800 front and 550 rear hyper coils
Comptech bars front full stiff and rear full soft (front inner most hole and rear outer most)
17/18 235/275 NT01

Am I jumping the gun before tracking them? Has anyone done the combo of front dali 1" track and rear Comptech bar?

I am running the Dali 1" Track Bar in the front set on the middle setting and the Dali 7/8" Street/Track bar in the rear set to full soft, I use to run the rear OEM bar and the car would push a bit, now the car is fairly ballanced but has a tendancy for power "on" understeer, prior to the 1" front bar I ran the 7/8" bar in the front on full stiff and the '04 rear OEM bar, that setup was loose on corner exit when putting the power down.

I have no where near your spring rates so it is likely that none of this info will apply to your setup, so take it for what it is. Bar changes are things you will have to tune at or near the limit of grip so track testing will be required. The Dali Street /Track bar is a copy of the CT Bar, I think.

How did the car handle with your old setup?

Dave, just my $0.02 but you won't feel a difference in street driving because you are not pushing the car hard enough. If you are, shame on you. :)

I run the front Dali 1" and it does make a big difference from the Type R. All other things remaining constant (alignment, springs, etc.) the excessive wear in the front left outside edge was greatly minimized when I switched to the Dali 1". I have gone from Dali Street/Track bar ---> Type R ---> Dali 1" Track bar. The change from the small Dali bar to Type R was insignificant, but the 1" bar was very noticeable on the track. On the street, you won't push it hard enough to notice anything.

Dali Street/Track Bar is 0.875" thick and so is the OEM Type R.
Dali Street/Track Bar is rated at ~280% stiffer than the stock in the middle setting (can't find any data on the Type-R).
The Comptech Bars are rated ~300% stiffer than stock in the middle setting (not sure the size).

My guess is that all three (Comptech, Type R & Dali Street/Track) are going to feel about the same.

As you may know, Dali is disappearing over time for good. I came out of the closet start making my own "bladed" type anti roll bar like on real race cars. Parts are being made as we speak. I have my website up just for today as its not quite ready.

Can you explain this further? I know that Dali recently changed ownership and that is now complete (to my understanding). But I have not heard that they're disappearing... or are you only referring to their sway bars?
