comptech sway adjustment

I am trying to adjust the Comptech sway bar on my '91. The links are a pain in the $%^ to try to get loose... I felt the front end a little stiff on tight turns and I am hoping to loosen it up by moving the link from "middle" position to the "end or last" position on the sway bar...My theory is that this will make the sway bar not as stiff and give some compliance to the front end and allow it to "stick" better in the tight turns...

questions:

1. Any easy way to loosen the links? The nut on the end just keeps turning.

2. How do I connect the link on the last or end position on the Comptech sway bar? Do I have to reverse the link in order to do this?

3. Am I doing the right adjustment in order to make the car handle better in the tight turns? I am hoping the car will rotate better...a little oversteer...

Thanks,
AJ

OK,

#1 will require a hex key socket (maybe 5mm cannot recall) to hold the inner piece from turning, or an impact gun may break then loose. Some PBBLaster is in order here:).

#2 If you have not reversed them yet, tyically you will need to. When you get them off test fit them to decide. or you may need to consider purchasing adjustable drop links.

3# the loose end of the car has MORE grip, so loosening the front is the same as stiffening the rear (relatively) so you are going in the right direction to promote oversteer
