Correct. The Ferrari has been fun, but problem prone. For example, I discovered the catalytic converters had turned to ash (Ferrari's run extremely hot). The price I was quoted per cat--and I'm not kidding--was $2000.

Driving the Ferrari is preferable to the NSX, but not preferable enough to justify the price.

It's an RM Racing chin spoiler. Looks good, easy to replace, fair price.

The weather here in the NW (as you well know) isn't suitable for convertibles by this time of the year. Maybe I'll buy a hardtop in the spring of 2002.

Hi Robert it's good to see you on the forum. Who did you speak with about the cost? GT? I might have another contact for you who might be able to help you but I can't promise anything. Remember the guy my age with the 348? He has a connection with one of the mechanics at GT and also around town.

Also I thought you were going to unload the 355 at the end of summer? I know the weather's been too nice huh? I was out in the hawthorne district today with top off... unreal for Portland.

Robert... George and Justin are just playing with you, they just haven't seen under the hood. BTW is she from your business?

Hejo,
There's a chance Ferrari NA will "good will" the cats to me. They've done so in the past when customers threatened legal action, along the lines of the NSX snap ring issue.

The stripper in the pictures was my 3rd choice to model for the car. Sasha Singleton (http://www.importmodel.com/models/s/sasha_singleton/) was my first choice, but I sold the car before she could fly up for a shoot.

Actually I think there might be a law about cats and how long they need to perform from a warranty perspective. For some reason I thought it was a federal reg they had to perform for 10 years. Obcourse if you've mod the car the warranty would be voided and the owner would be on the hook. Yours is stock right?

We should meet up sometime for lunch at one of my favorite Italian places in the Perl district. That way I can check out you car and get some go pics. Today, Monday, is going to be one of the last nice days for awhile. Private me if you're up for it.

BTW Angylina IMMS.
