HAN,

What is your main purpose for the car? Do you go to the racetrack, only street, show car? This is important for a good decision.

Also by "os" do you refer to OEM replacement?

Is the $1500 for labor ONLY?? This is very high, should be around $850.

I am from NY, so I cannot comment about mechanics in Lakewood CO. I would post the question about a mechanic in the proper regional forum, talk to local people for that advice:).

hi Han -- I assume you mean the OS Giken clutch. This clutch is definitely not designed for a street car. You will experience quite a bit oh shudder on take-off as well as chatter which the clutch is disengaged.

Instead of the Comptech, you may wish to consider the new RPS clutch. This clutch uses the same German Sachs components, but uses a special flywheel that is a much more advanced design. It is also quite a bit less expensive, and includes both the pilot and release bearings.

On the install question, we charge 8 hours for a standard clutch installation, which is $544.00. I'd recommend not having a body shop do an installation on the clutch, but not sure if that is what you are asking.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
-- Chris
