The best protocol is to use a 3M VHB mounting-tape to adhere the CT lip to the front-bumper's lower-valance, and then special rivet-like screws which are then plugged w/ putty & painted-over.

Otherwise, windshield adhesive can be used alone. But, this is costly & requires a lot of clamping to secure for proper setting & curing.

For a seamless/molded look, then urethane filler is required afterwards. This will permanently alter the front-bumper's lower-valance. Also, there is some likelihood cracks/splits to surface. Some NSX'ers w/ Wings West front-lips have gone this route (molded-front).

I have since removed mine. It looks great, but it does a number on the front-bumper's lower-valance due to it being virtually indestructible (the OEM lip is more forgiving as it sheers off). I will likely keep the CT lip (in-storage), as it's very rare & my fav' NSX lip (for '91-'01 NSX models).


EDIT: Here are some side-profile pics, yes- the sides of the CT lip need to be trimmed...
