Comptech exhaust 91-94 (with blown muffler)

i know i know... don't laugh.
the muffler on my comptech exhaust blew out recently.
i was thinking about having a new muffler welded in because the tips and piping are in excellent condition but i'm leaning more toward replacing the exhaust with a new one.
i have no idea what this is worth so i'll throw a price out that i think is on the high side and see what happens.
$300 or best offer.
(make a ridiculous offer... you might be surprised)

it sounded great until a couple weeks ago... typical comptech... not too loud.
now it sounds like there is something loose inside. it makes a metal on metal sound at 1.5k rpm and 3k rpm.
you would need to get a new muffler welded in.
everything else is in excellent condition... tips, flanges, piping.

this is about the best pic i have of it at the moment. it is still on the car.
