I still have a question. What does this do to the O2 sensor somewhere back there I think? In other words if you swap out your cats will you have issues with the exhaust O2 sensor?

Yep, as previsously seen on other posts you either need to expose the original O2 sensors to ambient air or run without them which will cause the check engine light to come on.

This is usually applicable to the 95 and up NSXs with ODBII.
