Comptech Body Kit help

Well I am considering installing a knock-off Comptech widebody because my installer just had a death in the family. I have done tons of custom fiberglass stereo inclosures and some fiber glass body work. I need advice on what needs to be done in order to make a great install....

ie I have heard that this kit is too thin in spots... does this mean that parts need to be reinforced withe more fiber glass in spots ?(behind)

How do you insure gaps are uniform ..by adjusting attachment points or by adding material ?
Anyone with experience in this area please respond.

Is this really difficult or just time consuming.

What is the difference between DIFFICULT and TIME CONSUMING? In my experience: they are exactly the same.

The original Comptech Widebody is a 100+ hour endeavor with prior install experience on the kit. I can only imagine what a knock-off kit would be like....

Difficult= taking apart your transmission
Time consuming= wet sanding your entire car

Difficult =making good exhaust welds
Time consuming = stripping paint
