coming to orlando....wheather there????

my family and i are coming to disney world for 9 days arriving this friday.... anybody have any advice for preparing for your wheather down there??? i understand there is a hurricane hitting florida now or soon to be.... does the orlando area get effected by the hurricanes and if so how much??? what is the humidity like there at this time of year???? what are your wheather forcasters predicting for the next week ???? any help would be appriciated...thanks....Dave

Hurricane coming? Don't think so...

Anyway, it begins cooling off in Oct but it's still going to be hot. Nights get very nice though this time of year. You may get lucky and have a bit of a cool front come through, in which case it's perfect Disney weather.


If there is a hurricane there, it's best to seek shelter inside. The good news is if there is a hurricane the strong breezes and rain tend to cool it off nicely.

I had such an amazing time this year, that I'm already planning for next year's NSXPO in Orlando.

This time of year the humidity and temperature are the same 90% 90 degrees. Say hello to Mickey

It's still hot during the day but it's getting noticeably nicer the last couple weeks. Weather-wise, this is a good time of year to go to theme parks.
