Coilover question........

Hey guys, I received my Buddy Club Race Spec coils in the mail today. However they are a different set up then my Teins on the RSX. There are three collars all together. My question is about the lower collar. The sway bar end link part just unscrews, do I have to lengthen that part by unscrewing it to fit into the knuckle to extend the system as a whole?

Not sure exactly what you are asking here, but the bottom collar is ultimately the one to set your height. The middle one locks the top one in place. And the top one holds the spring, obviously. :smile: I'm not sure how your set works, but on my Tein Flex, the spring should be snug, so I tightened the top collar firmly by hand giving the spring no room to move while the suspension was hanging. Used the middle collar to lock it into place. And then the bottom one I used to set the desired height of the car.

When I installed them, I had the coilovers "set" to low, so then installed easily. Coilovers are a breeze to install/remove, relatively speaking.

I figured it out. I must have been having a totally blonde moment lol. Thanks for your inout though. How low did you go?
