Before you commit to that Centerforce clutch, I suggest you try driving one. You might or might not like it, and it would be better to find out before you make the purchase.I thought the same (wrong) thing, until Larry Bastanza corrected me. The labor to open up the transmission is extensive, and you don't go through most of it when replacing only the clutch. Wait on the gears until you need the transmission opened up anyway (such as for the snap ring repair, if yours is in range, or the replacement of a hub selector or synchro). Otherwise you're paying for all that labor that you wouldn't be doing with just a clutch replacement...
