Ok I am close to buying a new clutch for my 92NSX I am debating between the centerforce or OEM. I called around here in Tampa. FL and got labor prices from 3 different dealers. Highest was $1,020tpa plus tax 2nd was $805Clwplus tax and cheapest was 636 Orlplus tax. What is the going price for this work? why such a big difference?

While I am getting the clutch done along with a new light flywheel. Is there anything else I should do or look for while the car is getting the clutch done?

Anyone out got any deals on a new OEM clutch or SOS centerforce with the light flywheel?

Thanks for the help

Before you commit to that Centerforce clutch, I suggest you try driving one. You might or might not like it, and it would be better to find out before you make the purchase.

You may want to consider changing your gearset:

You will save on labor since you are replacing your clutch.
I thought the same (wrong) thing, until Larry Bastanza corrected me. The labor to open up the transmission is extensive, and you don't go through most of it when replacing only the clutch. Wait on the gears until you need the transmission opened up anyway (such as for the snap ring repair, if yours is in range, or the replacement of a hub selector or synchro). Otherwise you're paying for all that labor that you wouldn't be doing with just a clutch replacement...
