Hi All,

Can anyone recomend a clutch kit and the best source (i.e. price!) to get it from. I've seen the single disc kits but not sure of cost/benefit etc. Car is a stock 92 with the original clutch which still bites well but has high pedal engagement. I am using it as a fair weather driver and maybe a DE event or two.

Any help is appreciated.

From my experiance, nothing lasts as long or works as well and as smooth in a stock car, as a stock clutch. There are several vendors mentioned here if you do a search, that offer fairly deep discounts on factory parts oreder by phone or online.

Whatever you do, unless you're drifting or racing hard, don't get an Exedy single. You will live to regret it. Starting and stopping were an aggravation, and now that it started slipping after 8k miles I'm going back to my original clutch. Had Basch Acura refurbish my original unit. They use Centerforce to renew you assembly, better than new and for less money.

You may want to consider rps from sos, you will not be sorry. Had mine 2 months now 400 mi best money i could have spent IMO. Stiff pedal but easy to get used to. It does have a very strong bite.

whats the difference beteen the RPS or stock or the Exedy hyper single?
i know the the rps is single plate, and stock is twin??
i really have no clue, but i have to start to chose as my clutch is almost done!
