I have an 02 with 35k miles and my clutch was slipping if I got on it hard...especially from a stop when I brought the rev's above 4k.
I just had an RPS clutch installed and it is way too stiff for my daily driver. It is absolutely incredible (it grabs like a mofo and allows the engine to rev much quicker) for a performance NSX or one that someone wanted to just plain drive harder, but not what I want for a daily driver.
My questions is: Are there performance rebuild parts for the OEM clutch that allwos you to keep the OEM pedal pressure?...lightened flywheel, disc's, pressure plates? I found this site http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/shop_brands/centerforce.html
I also found this site: http://www.ultrarev.com/Clutchmasters_Aluminum_Flywheel_Acura_NSX_1997_2002_6cyl_3.2L-p25655.html
So why not just put in the lightened flywheel and replace the stuff that wears out? I'm not a mechanic, but is sounds like it may work?
Has anyone just had their clutch rebuilt...used the Clutchmasters Aluminum Flywheel?
