Sounds like they are charging you for the same work twice. If they are already in there to do your clutch, doing the R&P should not take much more time. You could have had the WHOLE thing done for $500-600 MAX.Even if the labor took 10 HOURS, and overestimating at a ridiculous $100/hour, it should still only cost 1K MAX for labor for EVERYTHING.Unless I am missing something you are about to get ripped off. Labor on a clutch intall can be $800 at the high end. Same for installing gears and/or R&P. That doesn't mean they get to charge you for BOTH. They are already in there doing your clutch, so your gears should only take a little more work (few more hours MAX).You could have had the whole thing done here in So. Cal. for $500 or less. May have been worth the drive. DAMN! I feel terrible when people get nailed. sorry
