It just started yesterday, only had the car for two weeks. When I depress on the clutch pedal, about one to two inches down I hear a one ticking noise. It happens when Im driving & also when the car is not running. It does it every time I press down on it , even when I pressed it down with my hand. The sound is coming from under the dashboard, around the pedal area. Any suggestions. THANKS ( 91, 17,800 mi original clutch)

I am having the same noise happen to me. The noise started appearing recently. Please let me know if you get to the bottom of it. It is driving me CRAZY! 1991 84,000 new OEM clutch at 64,000

I stuck my head under the dashboard & just listen & kept pushing the pedals up & down & tried to determine were the noise is coming from, it seems that it was the pivot joints that were making the noise so I got some thick bearing grease & just smeared it all over the joints & its gone.
