Clutch Pedal Engages too High

I don't think he's talking about pedal adjustment, but engagement point - the procedure you reference merely adjusts the free-play.
From most owners I have talked to, the engagement point on the stock twin-disk clutch is towards the top of the pedal travel (mine included) - Should not be anything to worry about.

The only adjustment you have is in the linkage between the pedal and the master. At first thought one would think that the engagement point would move when you install a new clutch but as we know that's not the case with a hydraulic clutch.

If you put more free play in your pedal your engagement point will move down. The only caveat in the manual is having no free play in the pedal.
