When I drive the car - the clutch is perfectly fine. I can only hear that noise when the car is off and I push the clutch all the way in ... yet it shifts fine.
Is your car a 91-96? My car makes a knuckling noise when engaging at low speeds (0-5) or when I am going in reverse. I think it is the twin disc??? You dont hear it above 10 MPH.
I have the same issue on my 94, I just posted on friday (about 15 threads down), if you get a good answer let me know and I'll do the same. Sounds like a bearing needing grease from the responses on mine???

Sorry to revive an old thread but I could not find this information on any other thread. Anyway, I noticed I have this same noise. Just wondering if there is something to worry about.
Noise- small noise from back(like a fuel pump only not nearly as loud). Can makes noise when the clutch pedal is all the way in. Again, the noise is faint, but noticeable.
I had a creaking noise come from my clutch fork pivot. My mech was able to spray some Wurth lube onto the fork pivot which solved the problem. You have to remove you slave cylinder to see the pivot. However it is not that easy to see or to get to. A lift makes this much easier.
