Clutch Installed at Pasadena Dealer 650.00

I recently replaced the clutch in my 1995 NSX-T and found a great dealer
in Pasadena. Most of the Dealer here in LA were quoting 1200.00 to
1500.00 just for the labor.

I purchased the parts from Dali racing. And Acura of Pasadena quoted me
640.00 (labor) and completed the work the same day (actual time 6 hours)
and they charged me 650.00. The extra 10.00 was for a bolt and
hydraulic fluid. Overall they did a great job.

Also I work in down town Los Angeles and Acura of Pasadena will drop off
and pick up at the subway and it is a easy commute to LA.

I had Pasadena Acura look at my 2002 about 2 months ago for a 2nd gear shifting problem. They changed the fluid in the gearbox and left the drain plug loose. It dripped on my garage floor and the next day I had an 8 inch puddle. I took it back that day and they said that the plug was not torqued to the correct spec,which meant that they forgot to tighten it at all !!
I have taken my Legend there also. So i don't know what to think about the dealership at the moment. Could have been a disaster if I drove it on a long trip and not noticed the oil on the ground.
For a side note, they could not find the problem, which was grinding shifting into second once in a while, mostly when cold but not always.

Not sue what to say about your poor experience there at Pasadena Acura. The work they did on my NSX was perfect. And the people were great. I actually live close to the Torrance Acura dealer and have used them on 3 separate occasions. And all three time I have had problems, from not assembling the interior correctly to scratching the paint. I will never go back there again.
