Hey guys,

Where do you find your clutch to be engaging? Mine seem to not grab until I'm near the last 1/4 of the travel before it take my foot off the clutch pedal completely (if that makes sense). Seems odd, since most of my other cars all engage in the first 1/3 of the travel.

Mine engages about the same spot as yours, 1/4-1/3 from the top. I don't have any problems that would lead me to believe this is a problem. I also checked the service manual and it's consistent with the notes therein.

Thanks for the input guys!

I was worried but I guess thats all normal. Hard to gauge if something's normal when you are the only guy with an NSX in the entire city :P

same here.. mine had its clutch replaced a few months before i purchased it by leith acura in cary. I spoke to the lead nsx tech there and he said its normal for the nsx to engage high.

Well, if it has always been like that I wouldn't worry. But. if it started doing that recently I would first check the clutch fluid and make sure it isn't low. If it is low there may be a leak and that usually occurs at the clutch master and/or clutch slave. This happened to me, and I ended up changing those parts.
