I'mm getting my parts together for the master cylinder and slave cylinder replacement. In the shop manual it says to use the hi-temp grease (which I just ordered) on the slave cylinder as well as "brake assembly lube" on the boot. What do you guys recommend for the "brake assembly lube"?
Thanks!

the grease called out for the bearing surface between the slave cyl and release fork is a silicone grease with molybdenum disulfide....

On a note indirectly related to this thread, I flushed the clutch hydraulics on my 96 NSX-T yesterday. The last time I did this was by getting someone to push the clutch pedal while I opened and closed the bleeder.

This time I used a MityVac "Shooter" pressured brake bleeder. You open the bleeder 1/4 turn and connect it to a container that captures the expelled fluid, then pressure feed the brake fluid at the clutch cylinder reservoir. It pushed through 8 ounces of fluid in about 10 or 15 seconds. No air bubbles, etc.

My only negative comment on the MityVac is the rubber in their bleeder attachment fittings is too hard. I couldn't get them over the end of hte bleeder. I wound up using the fittings that came with my Lisle simple "pump the pedal" brake fluid cup. They worked just fine.
