hey guys, ok so its like 8 degrees outside, and a few minutes ago when i was driving to another building, after going down a declined surface, I heard this clunking sound, kind of 2-3 seconds worth. Mind you this is only when I re-engage the clutch. so regardless of whether i'm in say 1st gear or just in neutral when i re-engage the clutch i get this whirring clunking sound from the area i'd say under the front driver's side. this is kind of like the ABS pump sound but more clunky, and in this case it only happened when i re-engaged the clutch. it happened about 5 times for 2-3 seconds a piece, then it went completely away. so my question is, i'm sure i'm up for a new clutch in a few thousand miles, but this clunking sound is worrisome. is it possible this is due to the throwout bearing, or maybe i'm low on clutch fluid. what are some things i can narrow down.
