I am trying to install my clock display lid and there is a spring that I'm not sure how to fit. I think I got the spring on the lid correctly- I slid it over the pin with the short leg in the slot. The long leg is sticking out. There is a square hole behind the left hinge in the clock housing. Does the long leg of the spring fit into this hole? It seems like the lid will snap into place and be very hard to remove so I want to make sure I do this right the first time.
