I am hearing a vibration noise coming from the center console area of dash below the ash tray, most likely the climate control temperature sensor after looking at the manual. Has anyone had anything like this happen to your NSX? It seems there is a little fan or something back in there...could have this gone bad or need a little fixing? Please lend me your advise, as the noise is a little anoying.
Thanks!

Mine buzzes also. It is a little fan and I think you need to check the faqs to see a cutre, if their is one. You could try compressed air to blow away the dust.

Well, after seeing that it was only making the noise on a certain angle, I decided to go ahead and turn it upside down and put back together. SWEET...no more noise. Thanks.

won't the unit not work because it is not sucking in air?

He means he rotated the fan, on axis. As in 180 degrees from its original installation, not back to front.

The rattle comes from the bearing on the fan losing its lube and wearing out. If you lube the bearing and shaft with some light sewing machine oil and install it 180 degrees rotation, you should get a few more years out of it before it dies!

Mine rattles slightly but not enough that the stereo can't overpower it at a low volume.
