Climate control-powers on/off by itself???

I did a few searches, but nothing. Yesterday all the way home (5 hours) from the CGI event my entire climate control flashed on and off at 20 minute intervals. It was off (no power) for 95% of the time. No matter what button was pushed, it would NOT come on! Then it would flash on (full power, and work perfectly for a few minutes, and then go off again for 1/2 hour or so. Seems like it has a loose power feed or something. After about 5 hours of this, it seemed to be closer to about 60/40 off/on. Please help me!!!

I had a rough day at the track. 1) lost brakes 2) chattered rotors 3) cracked RM front clip 4) toasted clutch (at the end of its life range anyway) 5) then the stinkin climate control takes a dump!

You have caps that are leaking and that leakage corrodes the traces on the circuit board. Depending on what part of the board gets damaged worst/first you will have one of the common failures seen with the CCU. Fan running on high all the time, unit goes blank/dark, No heat ... PM me for repair/exchange prices

I agree with Brian. Mine did the same thing and bad capacitors was the culprit. I also had the "fan only blows on high" symptom as well.
