My Climate Control unit has had issues for some time now. When I start the car the CCU has no display the buttons do nothing what so ever. I had BrianK survice my Climate Control Unit. It seemed like it worked for a week then one day started the car and same thing no display no lights. the only change after the service is now sometimes the air blows out full blast. I checked the pins(ones the service manual told me to check) and got battery voltage where I needed it and continuity(sp) on the pins I needed. I am down to trying to get a known working CCU to check to see if its the car or the unit causing my woes.

(edit)The problem is intermittant. Like a flip of a coin sometimes it works like normal other times it doesn't. My question is could a fuse or Relay(main relay) cause these symptoms? I have waited for the problem to occur and immiediately with the car on unplug the unit and check the pins, so I don't think the issue lies in the wires.

there is a resistor in the blower unit, in the front of the car. that may be bad.

Think that could be causing these symptons

Bump...any ideas?

the video was like the car started then you hear the fan on high and then the video ends LOL

I see the display was out that can only be bad board need to have it rebuilt. or the flat wire harness inside the display has wiggled loose and is not displaying the data.

contact BrianK he can fix that easy.

do you always have the fan speed on Auto?

this is def a BrianK question.

Don't always leave it on Auto. Also note that sometimes the full blast of air will cut out and back on. You can hear something like a vent or relay flip when it cuts on and off. I am going to send it back to BryanK(now that I am home for a decent amount of time) and pray he can duplicate the issue. Just hoping its not in the car.
